Definitely one of the highlights individuals trip! Each day is broken up with regular stops because of excursions and photo opportunitues or refreshment and toilet breaks. The bus was comfy and the driver and guides very knowledgeable. There was some pressure to purchase a scarf about the 1st day (can get them for €3-5 elsewhere and then within the trip vs €10-12) but they are very polite if you decline. Great value for money and an incredible experience at all times. Would recommend this over the deluxe option.
This tour was an amazing experience, I highly recommend it. Some things to make note of to put expectations: You is going to be in the van quite a bit, the desert is a lot from Marrakech and Fes. A lot with the roads going over the mountains are under construction and that will slow things down some and make for quite the bumpy ride for sections with the journey. It’s 100% worth each of the van riding though. My driver Haj was very friendly generating sure everything was as comfortable as is possible for everyone over the way. Make sure you bring some Dirhams with one to purchase various tiny problems over the way, like sodas or snacks. I really recommend upgrading to the luxury tent option, I’ve stayed in hotels in America that weren’t as nice as my ‘tent’ using a hot shower and normal, Western style bathrooms. On this tour you’re going to get some amazing photos and learn a lot of cool reasons for having Morocco and also the Berber people.
This tour is exactly as advertised. There is a lot of your energy spent driving, nevertheless the drives are beautiful and the drivers are extremely skilled. All with the tour guides were very knowledgable and simple to be controlled by. The accommodations were above my expectations as well at both hotel and also the campsite
